Day 1: Zziwa Rhino tracking –Murchison Falls National Park
Depart early today. You will drive towards northern Uganda through farm lands, vast open savannahs, first stopover will be at the Zziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. Head to Masindi town for lunch and in the afternoon you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park arriving in the late afternoon. Check into your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game Drive –Boat Cruise
Early rise today, we need to catch the cats most of which are nocturnal before they go back to their hiding. A chance to spot the big 4 that is the Lions, Leopards, Cape Bufallo and elephants among others. In the afternoon you will have a 3 hours boat ride on the Victoria Nile and later return to your lodge for the night.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking –Budongo Forest –Top of the falls
Today you will go chimpanzee tracking. The forest is rewarding, the nature walk is breathtaking, scenic and births life and precious memories. On our way back to the lodge, we will visit top of the falls another stunning place, make sure your camera still has space and battery. You will later be transferred to your hotel for the night.
Day 4: Boomu women group –Transfer to Kampala/ Airport
Today is our final day, but before we exit the park and head for the airport, we will visit a women community project surrounding the national park. They make African crafts, art pieces, and also run community projects from which they support their families. You will later be transferred to the airport.
